IES Eras de Renueva holds the prestigious Label FrancÉducation and is also an official examination centre for both the British Council-Cambridge and L’Alliance Française, enabling students to obtain official certification in English and French. These distinctions position our school as a benchmark in high-quality multilingual education and reflect our strong commitment to academic excellence and international learning, providing students with access to language qualifications recognised worldwide.

In 2016, IES Eras de Renueva was awarded the Label FrancÉducation, a prestigious international distinction granted by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to schools that stand out for offering high-quality bilingual education in the French language and culture.

This accreditation, renewed in 2019 and 2022 following external evaluations by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), requires schools to teach over 33% of subjects in French, have highly qualified teaching staff, and demonstrate a strong commitment to educational quality.

The school takes part in international programmes such as the Francophone Bilingual Section, Bachibac, and the DELF-DALF exams, while also promoting cultural and exchange activities linked to the Francophone world.

Being part of the Label FrancÉducation network provides access to teacher training, support for innovative educational projects, and a wide range of online resources. Within this framework, one of our teachers and two Bachibac students attended the Génération Label FrancÉducation congresses held in Madrid in 2023 and 2024.

Since the label was established in 2012, only 651 schools worldwide have received this recognition. IES Eras de Renueva was the first in Castilla y León to do so.

IES Eras de Renueva is an authorised examination centre for British Council–Cambridge, allowing our students to take internationally recognised English language qualifications within the school itself. Cambridge Assessment English exams, such as the B2 First and C1 Advanced, rigorously assess language competence in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

These qualifications, issued by the University of Cambridge and administered by the British Council, are valid for life and widely recognised by educational institutions, employers, and public bodies across the globe. Obtaining them significantly enhances students’ academic and professional profiles and facilitates international mobility.

IES Eras de Renueva offers students the opportunity to obtain the DELF diploma at B1 and B2 levels, as we are an authorised examination centre under the supervision of L’Alliance Française. The DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) and the DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) are official international diplomas issued by the French Ministry of National Education and managed worldwide by France Éducation International.

These certifications officially validate language proficiency in French for both academic and professional purposes and are recognised by administrations, companies, and educational institutions around the world. Obtaining them enhances students' CVs and provides a competitive advantage in their academic journey.

Furthermore, the DELF B2 is a minimum requirement for obtaining Erasmus grants and, together with the DALF, offers direct access to French universities and an increasing number of European and Francophone institutions. Holders of the DELF B2 or DALF are exempt from taking French language entrance tests required as part of the demande d’admission préalable (DAP) to higher education institutions in France. These diplomas are valid for life.
