IES Eras de Renueva takes part in exchange programmes and language immersion activities. The internationalization of our school is one of our defining features. In addition to strengthening language learning through our educational programs and participation in Erasmus+ projects, we also promote language acquisition through immersion experiences in English - and French - speaking countries. These experiences have three main objectives: learning about different cultures, fostering tolerance and critical thinking, and improving linguistic skills.

Our students take part in a variety of language immersion experiences, including English and French camps across Spain. In France, we offer a French immersion programme in the region of Aquitaine, where students strengthen their language skills while being fully immersed in local life. Additionally, we run a French exchange programme with schools in Reunion Island, giving our students the opportunity to experience daily life abroad and host their exchange partners in return. 

Participating in these programmes not only enhances students’ linguistic competence but also helps them grow personally and socially. By stepping out of their comfort zones, they become more independent, gain global awareness, and develop empathy and intercultural sensitivity-essential skills for thriving in today’s interconnected world.
